The following terms apply to all licensed imagery supplied by Matthew Shaw Photography.
COPYRIGHT LICENSE AGREEMENT
You have been referred to this page as a result of a copyright query concerning one of our images. All photography produced by Matthew Shaw Photography is protected by copyright. If you want to use the images and do not already possess a licence to do so, please contact us using the details above.
Matthew Shaw Photography supplies the technical and artistic ability to illustrate an idea photographically, and sells the right to reproduce those pictures in a given context. No property or copyright in any pictures shall pass to the Client whether on submission or licensing.
Where any form of 'all media' Licence is granted, permission must be obtained before any additional use (including use for another product or sublicensing).
The Licence applies only to the named client and may not be assigned to any third party without permission.
For the avoidance of any doubt, usage is not permitted by architects, interior designers or other subcontractors without prior permission.
Unless stated otherwise, a non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable licence is granted only for the agreed usage.
Editorial use must reference the commissioning client and include a relevant call to action and no subcontractor may be referred to more than once within an article.
Usage is strictly limited to agreed parameters including media, duration, placement and territory. Additional use requires approval and may incur fees.
No rights are granted regarding trademarks or designs depicted. The client is responsible for securing permissions where required.
No releases exist unless explicitly stated. The client is responsible for determining requirements.
Unauthorised use may constitute infringement and result in liability.
No ownership or copyright transfers under any circumstances.
Copyright notices must not be removed from any file.
Files are warranted to be free from defects for 30 days. Remedy is replacement only.
The client agrees to indemnify Matthew Shaw Photography against claims arising from unauthorised use or breach.
